Do you tweet? Or, do you follow tweeters? Or, a little of both? Mac users have umpteen dozen ways to tweet.
From standalone Mac apps, to Menubar apps, from free to expensive, I count a few dozen Mac apps that work with Twitter.
Some, like Twitter’s official Mac app or the popular Twitterrific, bring a few dozen features to your Twitter life.
The full featured Twitter apps give you options. Options to search, manage multiple accounts, track threads, display user details, make bookmarks, and a whole lot more.
All it takes to tweet with most of those Twitter apps is a click or two, start typing, and click send.
What? Two whole clicks?
TweetMyDash is a Twitter wannabe Dashboard Widget which cuts down the number of clicks (from two to one). Move your pointer to the Dashboard, start typing into TweetMyDash, and click send.
Setup is easy. Just use the Twitter PIN to enable TweetMyDash.
After that, all that’s required is a burning moment of inspiration, a swish of the wrist to invoke the Dashboard, and you’re ready to tweet.
The only feature is the character count in the lower right corner. TweetMyDash is simple more than elegant, but it works, and won’t clutter your mind with countless features. There’s only one.
