Stealing From Apple?

Rob Enderle (yes, that Rob Enderle) in Forbes; You The Jury: Is Google’s Schmidt Guilty Or Innocent Of Stealing From Apple?

Eric Schmidt went public this week with his defense against Steve Jobs’ claim that Google stole the final idea for Android from Apple. He argued that Android proceeded iOS and that Google is known as a great innovator.

Now calling Steve Jobs a liar after death seems pretty ballsy to me particularly given Schmidt didn’t seem to want to do this during Steve Jobs life.

The rank and file of commenters seemed to think that Google was guilty of stealing from Apple. Then, there’s this comment.

The problem with Google is that they are making a lot of very powerful enemies like Apple, Microsoft, and Facebook. Google also seems to have ambition to go after the telecom carriers, ebook markets, utility smart grids and voice over IP. They definitely seem to be chasing after everything that has a pulse. Of course, they are able to do all of these things because of the huge revenue from their search market that helps finance all of these activities.

That sounds like Microsoft.
