They say that necessity is the mother of invention. Sometimes we see inventions and wonder what problem it’s trying to solve. After all, just because you can invent something doesn’t mean anybody wants it.
That might be the case with HD VideoWall. This very inexpensive and easy to use app puts videos onto your Mac’s Desktop.
The video effects are nothing but stunning and visually attractive. It comes with a bunch of psychedelic videos which float onscreen. Click and it goes full screen and covers your Mac’s Desktop.
The app itself is simple to use. Click on one of the included videos to select. Click play. Adjust the sound volume.
It even comes with screen savers.
Admittedly, HD VideoWall is visually stunning. It’s not like any screen saver or Desktop picture you’ve seen. It’s a movie that takes up the Desktop.
I’m not sure what problem it’s trying to solve, either. Boredom? That might be it. My Mac’s Desktop pictures are mostly hidden by files and folders and apps, and open app windows, so I don’t normally clean everything so I can watch a video on the Desktop.
