This is one of the best times of the year for sports fans. Scores are flying fast and furious on every major sport from NCAA football to NFL to the world series. Until the last update I was big on ESPN’s app to get the latest scores. However, the last version of ESPN for iPhone and iPad was obviously designed by a committee made up of blind croquet users so I began a search for something better.
Among those sports scores apps I’ve downloaded is ScoreMobile. It’s free and displays the basics. Scores in near real time, and game stats, all without having to tap seven times.
ScoreMobile does live coverage for all major sports from NFL to MLB, NBA, NCAA, Soccer, NASCAR, Tennis, Golf and much more.
Not only can you follow scores, but you get access to team details, player details and profiles, and the horizontal view gives even more information.
ScoreMobile’s Team View gives you specific details on a per team basis. Customize your scores with selected teams, and dig into Player Card Profiles for photos, season stats, and much more.
It still takes a few taps to get all the scores if you’re in high season, but ScoreMobile gives as much as ESPN’s less-than-stellar app, and is still free.
