Generally speaking, choice is good. Mac vs. Windows PC is a choice. Macs don’t require malware protection, usually work better, last longer, and have higher resale value. PCs seem to require constant, nagging maintenance. From AnythingTips:

Questions that you should be asking the sales person should include topics such as overall performance, battery life, sound quality, picture resolution, additional equipment that would need to be purchased and susceptibility to viruses for starters.
Dollar for dollar, a Mac will excel at any of those items on the list. I’ve used Macs since they were launched back in 1984 because they work for me, instead of me doing work for the computer.
