Macworld has a number of SuperGuides for Macs, OS X Leopard, Mac Gems, Digital Photography, Mac OS Hints, and now the iPhone and iPod touch. The guides are PDF books available for download or via CD. Either way, it’s $12.95.
These PDF-based books are produced by the Macworld staff and are packed with practical how-tos, in-depth features, tips and tricks, and more.
The CD costs money to produce and ship, while a PDF download may cost, at most, a few cents. So why is the price tag the same for both?
