The iPhone has a built in magnifying glass, right? Press your finger on text and the loupe appears above your finger to magnify the text. That’s all well and good but a pain in the eye if you want to magnify something else that’s not on your iPhone and you don’t have a real magnifying glass.
iPhone to the rescue. Press Settings, press General, then scroll near the bottom and press Accessibility and select Zoom to turn it on. Now, turn on your iPhone’s camera and use the three-fingered double-tap to zoom in on whatever image shows up in the camera screen. It’s an instant, highly convenient, albeit very expensive, magnifying glass. Double-tap with three fingers to go back to normal. Now, that’s a smartphone.
