Out with the old, in with the new. The New England Patriots traded five-time Pro Bowl defensive lineman Richard Seymour to the hapless Oakland Raiders. Why? Seymour is older and slower, and the Patriots don’t like old and slow. That’s why they traded linebacker Mike Vrabel and forced safety Rodney Harrison and Tedy Bruschi to retire.
