To be fair, a barrel of monkeys is probably not all that much fun. Fun to watch? Maybe. Otherwise, the monkeys probably cause more grief than anything else what with running around, throwing bodily waste, and slobbering on anyone who gets too close. That’s not to mention all the noise.
Colored Folder Creator is a Mac app that’s actually fun to use to created, well, colored folders. Instead of using the Mac’s dull, drab, and boring blue folders, add spice and color to your folders. All the tools you need to create unique folders are built in.
Drop in colors, add gradients, change the stroke of the folder image, align objects in folder icon, and much more.
Also included are over 1,000 pre-created images you can use to make your folders both colorful and easier to find among the Mac’s typical folders. Drop in photos, animals, shapes, text, patterns, whatever it takes to make the folder icon memorable.
If you’re bored with the Mac’s boring folders, Colored Folder Creator can end the blah lahs in minutes.
For all you can do with this handy, inexpensive, easy-to-use app, there is a down side to being able to create your own folder designs.
There’s a tendency to just go crazy and change every folder on your Mac into something snazzy and colorful. All of a sudden all your folders look just like the blue folders, only with more color, so don’t get carried away.
Still, it’s fun to use, doesn’t cost much, takes no time to figure out, and it gives folders a visual, personal touch that Apple doesn’t provide.
