Here’s a little app irony. I was thinking that my Mac needs a Mac app inventory app to remind me that I have more apps than I can use.
Yet another Mac photo app was added over the weekend. Why? This one does something none of my few dozen other photo enhancement apps can do.
MovingPhotos3D Free is a photo visualization app. It lets you look at photos in a 3D way; on screen in the app or as a screensaver. Grab a collection of photos, select from five shapes, and your Mac’s screen comes alive.
Take a look at the moving wall of photos on a Mac screen.
Remember the old cube of photos? That’s included in MovingPhotos3D Free.
Run your photos within the app or click to go full screen. Or, run the photos as a screen saver.
Click on a photo in the app and the photo opens up full screen. Photos come from iPhoto so there’s no configuration.
Your photos can also explode into hundreds of photos floating around on screen. The visuals are stunning and the price can’t be beat.
What’s missing? One important function. iTunes. There’s no accompanying music. And, there’s no way to choose specific albums from iPhoto or a folder of photos (even iPhoto can do that).
