Here’s the craziest name ever for a Mac app that does more than expected and at a very odd price. JamesJr is a digital photo utility with three main functions.
Sorting: JamesJr sorts photos in multiple folders and can batch upload photos into iPhone and add keywords.
Photo Editing: This isn’t Photoshop, but if you deal in hundreds of photos at a time, JamesJr can be a big help to save time. It scales photos, crops, converts color, frames photos, rotates, and archives photos.
Editing tools are self explanatory, and all functions are controlled from the right sidebar.
Export Gallery: One function not expected but useful is the export capability. JamesJr exports photos as HTML gallery pages.
JamesJr is an unusual name for an app, with an unusual price, and with an unusual assortment of rather useful functionality. It’s not a selling point, but even the logo, while attractive, is also somewhat unusual. The collection of tools are the kind every photographer needs from time to time.
