Smartphone users are wimps. That according to Google co-founder Sergey Brin as he anointed Google’s high-tech Glass as the next insanely great thing. From Chris Gayomali in The Week:
Is this the way you’re meant to interact with people? Is the future of connection just people walking around hunched up looking down, rubbing a featureless piece of glass? It’s kind of emasculating. Is this what you’re meant to do with your body?
We’re not made to hunch over a $600 slab of electronics and glass, and ignore the world around us. We’re made to strap on a pair of $1,500 electronic glasses, stare blindly at the glass screen, and ignore the world around us.
