For Mac users who connect an external display to a MacBook or Mac mini, or have an extra display connected to an iMac, there’s plenty of fiddling going on to manage display resolution. Here’s a nifty Mac app that makes changing resolution and managing multiple displays much easier (if you don’t mind the price tag).
Eye-Friendly can do wonders for Mac users who need to change screen resolutions with a click. Instead of using Apple’s built-in Preference Pane, Eye-Friendly changes resolution with a click to the Menubar– for built-in display, or connected display.
Click, and ye shall receive resolution options.
One click makes it easy to change the Mac’s screen resolution. Why do you need that? For some, larger text helps. For others, sharpness makes it easier to read. Eye-Friendly has keyboard shortcuts to avoid the Menubar click (multiple shortcuts walk through the various screen resolutions available to your Mac).
Not everyone needs to change the Mac’s screen resolution, but doing so can make a difference in reading, graphic and web design, and video watching.
