Objections to the subscriptions plan focus chiefly on higher fees for those who don’t upgrade often. Another problem is that customers won’t be able to do anything with their files unless they pay the subscription fee.
Creative Suite 6 is still available for purchase, but Adobe has already moved to the subscription service which guarantees higher prices for their apps for most users, individually or in suites, and especially those who did not upgrade to every new version.
Any way you put it, and regardless of what you call it, it’s a price increase.
