So says someone too young to know about carburetors. Joseph Ghanem on how hydrogen will beat electricity:
FCVs started out over a decade ago as technology that was in its infancy stage, and clearly not ready for prime time. A decade later, and it appears the time has come for fuel cell vehicles to reclaim the mantle as the most energy efficient, practical and realistic choice for the zero-emission car-buying consumer.
Uh huh. Sure. Things change, yes. But not overnight. Whenever hydrogen is ready to pass electric vehicles then how much trouble would it be for Tesla and other electric or hybrid makers to swap out to a hydrogen system? Not. Very. Much.
Besides, there are many more electric charging stations in the U.S. than hydrogen fuel cell locations. This will be a slow change. Sloooooow.
