Good piece from Wil Gomez on how Dell’s latest notebook one ups the Mac:
Through the years I’ve been tempted to get into the Hackintosh game and figure out the arcane method to put OS X onto a Windows PC notebook. It can be done, but often it’s an exercise in futility for a variety of mumbo jumbo technical reasons.
However, that said, if ever there was a Windows PC notebook– and a Dell, no less– that would tempt me to become a certified Hackintosher, it would be the Dell XPS 15. Almost everything about the specifications smacks better up against the head, but comes in at a few hundred dollars less than a not-quite-comparable 15-inch MacBook pro.
This is drool worthy hardware, folks. From Dell.
