It’s a short list but I have to agree with the results. Jeffrey Mincey’s three favorite browsers.
Firefox has speed and many of the same extensions I use on Safari are available on Firefox’s latest version, so I’m good with both. Firefox does have a very cool and free file sharing system which is free and highly secure. Upload a file in Firefox (up to 1GB), get a link, send the link to someone, and they can download the file and decrypt it on the fly. With Firefox, of course.
But it’s not just a single browser that gets used. Here’s another one I like and use.
If Opera is based upon Chromium (the interface smacks of Chrome) then what’s the big advantage? Opera features a built-in VPN; a virtual private network, which means you can browse in a private mode you won’t get in Chrome. Oh, did I mention the VPN is free in Opera?
Opera is now owned by a company in China. What’s number three? Safari on macOS High Sierra. Google’s Chrome comes in dead last on macOS.
