Barbara Marie Brannan on the issue with iPhone cases and cracked screens:
The problem with cases is also the problem with the two basic classes of iPhone case users. The first is those clear plastic to ultra thin cases. I get it. Thin is in. Thinner is better. The problem with such cases is that they offer little protection beyond what the iPhone itself offers and it might be a reason why Apple does not sell their own brand of clear plastic case.
I remain puzzled why parents allow their smaller children to play with their iPhones. Half the time the iPhone has a cracked screen. I wonder why?
iPhone is a supercomputer in your pocket so it should be treated with some degree of care and consideration to ensure it does what you want when you want. Some iPhone cases can be dangerous because style and fashion trumps safety.
