Apple states that a “limited number” of 128GB and 256GB solid-state drives in the 13-inch MacBook Pro have “an issue that may result in data loss and failure of the drive.” Apple is launching a repair program to service these affected drives free of charge — and it recommends doing so as soon as possible.
This affects a limited number of customers on the least popular MacBook Pro but, in typical Forbes fashion, the headline makes it seems as if all MacBook Pro models have the same issue.
They. Do. Not.
Forbes has no shame and a well-deserved reputation for fact distortion.
